Meredith represents clients in complex family-law matters. She handles cases of divorce and separation, including negotiating division of assets and plans for spousal support and maintenance. In these and other cases, she also regularly represents clients in proceedings relating to custody and removal of children, child support, paternity, and care arrangements. She also handles post-divorce modifications of agreements as to alimony and custody and support of children. And she regularly drafts prenuptial agreements.

Meredith has a deep and also practical understanding of Massachusetts family law. She is a straightforward advocate for her clients, with wisdom about and sensitivity toward the difficulties of the life transitions inherent in these cases. She works closely and strategically with her clients, carefully communicating through every step of the legal process.

Meredith is a certified Parenting Coordinator in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (included on Court Approved Category V List), a certified Category F Guardian Ad Litem, as well as a certified mediator.

Meredith serves as a volunteer in the “Lawyer for the Day” programs run by the family courts in Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth and Suffolk counties. She is also a volunteer pro bono lawyer for the Women’s Bar Foundation Family Law Project. In 2017, Meredith was selected to be part of the Women’s Bar Association’s “Women’s Leadership Initiative,” a program that identifies “rising stars” for leadership development.

Outside the office, Meredith is a fitness enthusiast, teaching sought-after weekly classes at an indoor cycling studio.
